Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education UBTER, Govt. Polytechnic Pithowala campus, Dehradun invites Applications in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for filling up the following 270 vacancies of Ministerial Staff (Clerical cadre and Stenography cadre) in the District/Subordinate Courts & Family Courts. Uttarakhand Clerk and Steno Vacancies 2014-2015
Total Number of Vacancies: 270
Clerical Cadre: 177
Stenography Cadre: 93
Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent qualification. For Clerical cadre post Hindi typing speed would be of 7500 key depressions per hour. For Stenography cadre post Hindi shorthand speed would be of 80 words per minute and Hindi typing speed of 7500 key depressions per hour on computer.

Age Limit: 21 to 42 years (as on 01.07.2014).
Application Fee:
Candidates of all categories are exempted from payment of Application fee & Examination fee.
Selection & Exam Pattern:
Candidates will have to undergo a Multi-optional Objective type written test of 140 Marks followed by typing or shorthand test of 60 Marks. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
How to Apply:
Eligible and interested candidates may send their Applications in 9” x 12” size envelope by Speed Post/Registered Post in the prescribed format complete in all respect (without photocopies of documents) to “The Secretary, Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, By-Senior Postmaster, GPO, Dehradun-248001” so as to reach on or before last date. Eligible candidates are required to submit separate application for Clerical Cadre & Stenography Cadre posts.
