Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)

Age Limit – 18 to 23 years as on 01.07.2021. Relaxation of 01 year has been provided in the upper age limit for the selection year 2021-2022 for the posts of Group C. Relaxation in upper age for SC, ST, OBC, FF, Ex-Serviceman, Homeguard etc will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass/ 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Maths and English subjects from any recognized institutions located in Uttarakhand State or its equivalent qualification. OR

Passed Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology related to Radio Technology from an institute recognized by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education or its equivalent qualification.

In order to apply for the direct recruitment of Group C Posts of UKSSSC Head Constable (Uttarakhand Police Telecom), candidate must have passed 10th and 12th or equivalent level of examination from recognized institutions located in Uttarakhand State.

Head Constable Selection Process, Exam Syllabus and Physical

The selection process of Uttarakhand Police HC (Telecom) will be completed in 02 phases. In the first phase, candidates will have to go through written exam (online or offline) and then qualified candidates will be called for Physical Standard Test in the second phase. The written exam is scheduled to be conducted by the Commission in the month of July 2022 tentatively.

Written Examination:
All eligible candidates will be called for an Objective type Written Exam of maximum 100 Marks of 02 Hours duration. Question Paper for Uttarakhand Police Head Constable (Telecom) will comprise of questions based on the subjects related to minimum educational qualification. There will be negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer given by candidates in OMR based exam. Minimum 45% marks for GEN/OBC candidates and minimum 35% marks for SC/ST candidates will be mandatory to qualify in the written exam.

Thereafter, on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in written exam, category-wise merit list will be prepared according the existing reservation rules. In case of candidates having equal marks, the candidate whose age is higher will be placed higher in the order of merit. Final selection of candidates will be based on merit of performance in written exam, subject to qualifying Physical Standard Test (PST), fitness in Medical examination and Character verification.

Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission is now preparing for Computer Based Test (CBT) along with the Offline exam. Therefore, the Head Constable (Police Telecom) Exam may be conducted either offline or online.

पर्वतीय क्षेत्र का निर्धारण – देहरादून: पूरी चकराता तहसील तथा राजपुर की ऊंचाई से ऊपर गंगा तथा यमुना नदियों के मध्य स्थित देहरादून तहसील के उत्तर तथा पूर्व में स्थित मसूरी पहाड़ी का क्षेत्र। नैनीताल तथा गढ़वाल, कोटद्वार सहित सब माउन्टेन सड़क के ऊपर का क्षेत्र पिथौरागढ़, अल्मोड़ा, चमोली, टिहरी गढ़वाल तथा उत्तरकाशी जिलों के संपूर्ण भाग। नवसृजित जनपद बागेश्वर, रूद्रप्रयाग एवं चंपावत का संपूर्ण भाग भी इससे पूर्व में क्रमशः जनपद अल्मोड़ा, चमोली एवं पिथौरागढ़ का भाग होने के कारण पर्वतीय क्षेत्र माना जायेगा।

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

To apply online for the posts of Uttarakhand Police Head Constable (Telecom), you will have to go through the UKSSSC OTR (One Time Registration) process. Keep ready your mobile number, email id, educational details and scanned images of photograph (Max 50 kb), signature (Max 20 kb) and left thumb impression (Max 50 kb) in JPG format for OTR.

Application fee:
Keeping in view the adverse effect on employment and economy due to Covid-19, the Government of Uttarakhand has decided not to charge the application fee till 31.03.2022. Therefore, the application fee will not be charged from the applicants for this examination.

Answer Key, Result and Physical Test Date

UKSSSC has successfully conducted the Mukhya Aarakshi Police Doorsanchar Exam on 31st July across the state. As per the sources, approx 44000 candidates had registered for the exam, out of which approx 23500 candidates appeared in the written exam.

Official Answer Keys have been released by the Commission through its official website, which can be downloaded through the direct link below. If any candidate has objection to the answer given in the released answer key, then the candidate can submit his/her objection with proof till 08th August through online mode.
