Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) invited online applications for filling up the following 306 Vacancies of Technician Cadre in various Govt Medical Colleges by direct recruitment. UKMSSB Uttarakhand Medical College Technician Recruitment

UKMSSB has initiated the recruitment process for the 306 posts of Technician Cadre (Lab Technician, OT Technician, CSSD Technician, Radiotherapy Technician, ECG Technician, Audiometry Technician, Dental Technician, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Refractionist and Radiographic Technician) under Government Medical Colleges of Uttarakhand. In order to apply for direct recruitment of these Group C posts, you must have passed High School and Intermediate or equivalent level of examination from recognized institutions located in the Uttarakhand State.

Pay Scale (Salary):
CSSD Technician – Rs 25500-81100 (Pay level 4).
Lab Technician, OT Technician, ECG Technician, Audiometry Technician, Dental Technician, Refractionist and Radiographics Technician – Rs 29200-92300 (Pay level 5).
Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist – Rs 35400-112400 (Pay level 6).

Radiotherapy Technician – Rs 44900-142400 (Pay level 7).

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)

Age Limit – 18 to 42 years as on 01.07.2021 (relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt rules).

Educational Qualification:
1. Candidate should have passed Intermediate (12th) Examination in Science from Uttarakhand Board or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

2. Candidate should have a Degree/Diploma in relevant field (Lab Technology/ OT/ CSSD/ Radiotherapy/ ECG Technician/ Audiometry Technician/ Dental Technician/ Physiotherapy/ Occuphysiotherapy/ Refractionist/ Radiographics) from any recognised institution.

3. Candidate should have valid/ renewed certificate of registration in Uttarakhand State Medical Faculty or Uttarakhand Paramedical Council till closing date of application.

4. The candidate must have compulsorily obtained training (internship) in related work from a recognized medical institution. This eligibility condition has been amended by the government as per the notification released on 06.01.2022.

As a result of the amendment made by the government, now those candidates have also become eligible to apply, who do not have mandatory experience of 02 years, but they have compulsorily received training (internship) in related work from a recognized medical institution. Candidates who have already applied for the UKMSSB Technician posts need not to apply again.

Preferential Qualification – Preference will be given to those candidates who have completed minimum 02 years service in Territorial Army or have NCC B Certificate.

UKMSSB Technician Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The recruitment process will consist of objective type written exam of 100 Marks which is scheduled to be conducted during the month of June-July 2022 (tentative). The question paper will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions based on the related technical subject.

Minimum 45 marks for Gen/ OBC/ EWS and 35 marks for SC/ ST will be mandatory to obtain in the written exam. Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer given by candidates. For selection, post and category wise final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. In the case of obtaining similar marks by two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of preferential qualification or higher age (as applicable).

Eligible and desirous candidates are required to register and submit online application form for the UKMSSB Technician Recruitment through the website ukmssb.org or ukmssb.co.in from 07 Jan to 27 Jan 2022 (revised). Before applying online keep ready your email id, mobile number and scanned images of passport size photograph and signature (max 50 kb each) in jpg format.
