Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) invited online applications for filling up the following 79 Vacancies of Technician Cadre in various Govt Medical Colleges by direct recruitment. All eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the Uttarakhand Technician Vacancies through ukmssb.org from 04th Jan to 24th Jan 2025. UKMSSB Medical College Technician Recruitment 2025

The Board has initiated recruitment process for the 79 Posts of Technician Cadre (CSSD Technician) under Government Medical Colleges of Uttarakhand. In order to apply for direct recruitment of these Group C posts, you must have passed High School and Intermediate or equivalent level of examination from recognized institutions located in the Uttarakhand State.

Currently there are no vacancies advertised for the Technician Cadre posts such as Lab Technician, OT Technician, Radiotherapy Technician, ECG Technician, Audiometry Technician, Dental Technician, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Refractionist and Radiographic Technician.

Pay Scale:

CSSD Technician – Rs 25500-81100 (Pay level 4).

Lab Technician, OT Technician, ECG Technician, Audiometry Technician, Dental Technician, Refractionist and Radiographics Technician – Rs 29200-92300 (Pay level 5).
Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist – Rs 35400-112400 (Pay level 6).
Radiotherapy Technician – Rs 44900-142400 (Pay level 7).

UKMSSB Technician Vacancy Details:

CSSD Technician – 79 (UR-43, SC-15, ST-03, OBC-11, EWS-07)

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Qualification)

Age Limit – 18 to 42 years as on 01st July 2024. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, DFF, Ex-servicemen and other categories is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification:
1. Candidate should have passed Intermediate (12th) Examination in Science from Uttarakhand Board or any examination recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

2. Candidate should have a Degree/ Diploma in relevant field (CSSD/ OT) from any recognised institution.

3. Candidate should have valid/ renewed certificate of registration in Uttarakhand State Medical Faculty or Uttarakhand Paramedical Council till closing date of application.

4. The candidate must have compulsorily obtained training (internship) in related work from a recognized medical institution. This eligibility condition has been amended by the government as per the notification released on 06.01.2022.

As a result of the amendment made by the government, now those candidates have also become eligible to apply, who do not have mandatory experience of 02 years, but they have compulsorily received training (internship) in related work from a recognized medical institution.

Preferential Qualification – Preference will be given to those candidates who have completed minimum 02 years of service in Territorial Army OR who have NCC B or C Certificate.

UKMSSB Technician Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of objective type written exam of maximum 100 Marks. The question paper will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of 100 Objective Type Multiple Choice questions based on the related technical subject. Negative marking of ¼ marks will be applicable for every wrong answer given by candidates.

Minimum 45 marks for UR/ OBC/ EWS and 35 marks for SC/ ST will be mandatory to obtain in the written exam. For selection, post and category wise final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. In the case of obtaining similar marks by two or more candidates, the merit will be determined on the basis of preferential qualification or higher age (as applicable).
