Tamil Nadu IAF Recruitment Rally at Coimbatore 2019-2020

Indian Air Force (IAF) has scheduled to conduct the next Airmen recruitment rally for all the districts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, UT of Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands for Intake 02/2020. The Recruitment Test for Group X (Education Instructor) Trade vacancies will be conducted from 17 October to 23 October 2019 at Indoor Stadium of Dept of Physical Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (TN). Age, Qualification and Physical Standards

Age Limit:
For Graduates – Candidates should be born between 19 July 1995 and 01 July 2000 (both days inclusive).
For Post-Graduates – Candidates should be born between 19 July 1992 and 01 July 2000 (both days inclusive).
Upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 25 years for graduate and 28 years for post graduate candidates. Married candidates are eligible if their age on the date of enrolment is above 22 years.

Educational Qualification:
BA with English as one of the subjects or B.Sc with Physics/ Psychology/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ IT/ Computer Science/ Statistics as one of the subjects or BCA with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed degree with minimum 50% marks from a government recognized institute. OR
MA in English/ Psychology or M.Sc in Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ IT or MCA with 50% marks and B.Ed degree with minimum 50% marks from a Government recognized institute.

Physical Standards:
Height – 152.5 Cms
Chest – Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight – Proportionate to height and age
Visual Acuity – 6/36 each eye correctable to 6/9 each eye
Colour Vision – CP-III

Selection Process, Physical and Written Test

The selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Physical fitness test, Written test, Adaptability test-1, Instructional ability test, Adaptability test-2 and Medical examination. For selection, Provisional Select List (PSL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the PSL will depend upon their performance in the recruitment rally. The AISL/ PSL for Intake 02/2020 will be displayed at 8 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Tambaram, Tambaram East, Chennai (TN) on 30 April 2020. The PSL will also be available at Central Airmen Selection Board website airmenselection.cdac.in.

Physical Fitness Test – The PFT will consist of a 1.6 Kms run to be completed within 6.30 Minutes (upto 27 Years of Age) and within 7 Minutes (for candidates above 27 years of age), 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups and 20 Squats.

Written Test: – The written test will comprise of two parts as follows:
Written Test (Objective) – This part will contain two subjects English and GK & CA (General knowledge & Current Affairs) having 25 questions each. Questions are of multiple choice and duration of exam will be 45 minutes (for both subjects). Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer given by candidates.
Written Test (Subjective) – All candidates who pass written test (Objective) will only be permitted to appear in this test. This test will contain two questions, one essay writing and one precis writing. This part of exam will be of 25 marks and the duration of exam will be 35 minutes. Negative marking will not be applicable in this part.

Tamil Nadu IAF Rally Schedule and Notification

Unmarried male candidates from all the districts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, UT of Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands are eligible to participate in this Recruitment Rally. Candidates are required to report at Indoor Stadium of Dept. of Physical Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) between 06.00 AM – 10.00 AM on 17 & 21 October 2019 as per the schedule (selection programme) below:

For all the districts of State of Tamil Nadu, UT of Puducherry and UT of Andaman and Nicobar Islands:
17 October 2019 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
18 October 2019 – Adaptability Test 1 and Instructional Ability Test
19 October 2019 – Adaptability Test 2
20 October 2019 – Reserve Day

For all the districts of State of Kerala and UT of Lakshadweep Islands:
21 October 2019 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Written Test
22 October 2019 – Adaptability Test 1 and Instructional Ability Test
23 October 2019 – Adaptability Test 2

Writing Materials and Documents Required:
1. HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
2. Seven un-attested recent (taken not before September 2019) passport size colour photographs (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his Name and Date of Photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
3. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Matriculation Passing Certificate (required for Date of Birth verification).
4. Original Degree Certificate and Mark sheets of all semesters of Graduation/ Post-Graduation along with 04 self-attested photocopies of each.
5. Original Degree Certificate and Mark sheets of B.Ed along with 04 self-attested photocopies.
6. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate.
7. Original and 04 self-attested photocopies of NCC A, B or C Certificate (if applicable).
