SBI PO Recruitment Exam 2025 Apply Online (600 Posts)

State Bank of India (SBI) has released recruitment notification for the following 600 Vacancies of Probationary Officer (PO). All eligible Indian Citizens can apply online for the Bank PO Bharti Vacancies through the website sbi.co.in up to 16th Jan 2025. SBI PO (Probationary Officer) Recruitment

Pay Scale – Rs 48480-2000/ 7-62480-2340/ 2-67160-2680/ 7-85920 with starting basic pay Rs 48480/- (Plus 4 advance increments).

Age Limit – 21 to 30 years as on 01st April 2024 i.e. candidate must be born between 02 April 1994 and 01 April 2003 (both days inclusive). Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories is applicable as per prevalent Bank Rules.

Educational Qualification – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Candidates appearing in the Final Year/ Semester of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30 April 2025.

Total Number of Vacancies – 600 Posts

SBI PO Selection Process and Exam Pattern

SBI Probationary Officer selection process consists of Phase-1 (Preliminary Examination), Phase-2 (Main Examination) and Phase-3 (Psychometric test, Group exercise and Interview) as per the pattern below:

Phase-1 (Preliminary Examination) – The Preliminary Examination will be conducted online and it will consist of 100 Objective Type questions (01 mark each). The test will comprise of 03 Sections as follows:

  • English Language: 40 Questions (20 Minutes duration)
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Questions (20 Minutes duration)
  • Reasoning Ability: 30 Questions (20 Minutes duration)

Phase-2 (Main Examination) – Candidates declared qualified and shortlisted in preliminary exam will be called for the main exam. The Main Exam will consist of Objective Test of maximum 200 Marks and Descriptive Test of maximum 50 Marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be conducted online. Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.

The objective test of total 03 Hours duration will consist of 04 Sections as follows:

Reasoning and Computer Aptitude: 40 Questions/ 60 Marks (50 Minutes duration)
Data Analysis and Interpretation: 30 Questions/ 60 Marks (45 Minutes duration)
General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness – 60 Questions/ 60 Marks (45 Minutes duration)
English Language – 40 Questions/ 20 Marks (40 Minutes duration)

The Descriptive Test will be of 30 Minutes duration and will consist of questions based on Communication Skills (Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis and Precis Writing) of maximum 50 Marks.

Phase-3 – Psychometric test, Group exercise and Interview.

Shortlisted candidates in the main exam will be called for Psychometric test, Group exercise and Interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Phase-2 (main examination) and Phase-3 (Group Exercise and interview). Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and desirous candidates are required to submit online application form for the SBI PO Recruitment Bank Vacancies through the website sbi.co.in from 27th Dec 2024 to 16th Jan 2025.

Candidates must have valid email ID and mobile number to get Call letter, advices etc by email/ sms. After completing online registration processes, take a printout of the system generated online application form. Candidates are advised to go through the advertisement carefully and fill all the necessary details while filling the online application.

Application fee:
UR/ EWS/ OBC Candidates – Rs 750/- (Application fee incl intimation charges).
SC/ ST/ PwBD Candidates – Nil.
Application fee can be remitted by online mode only using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking/ UPI.
