Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti invites online applications for recruitment to the following 1925 Vacancies in various Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and HQ/ RO Cadre. All eligible candidates may apply online for the NVS JNV Vacancies of Steno, MTS, Staff Nurse, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Electrician cum Plumber, Lab Attendant, Mess Helper etc through navodaya.gov.in up to 10 Feb 2022. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Non Teaching Vacancies 2022-2023

NVS has its HQ Office at Noida (Uttar Pradesh), 08 Regional Offices (at Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune & Shillong), 07 NLIs (at Amritsar, Goa, Kamrup, Noida, Puri, Rangareddy, Udaipur) and more than 649 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) functional all over India except in the State of Tamil Nadu.

Total Number of Vacancies – 1925 Posts

As per the recruitment notification, the various Group A, B and Group C Posts advertised under NVS Non Teaching category are to be filled under the following two cadres:
HQ/RO Cadre Posts – Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Admn), Assistant Section Officer, Audit Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Engineer (Civil), Stenographer, Computer Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS).
JNV Cadre Posts – Female Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Electrician cum Plumber, Lab Attendant and Mess Helper.

NVS Non Teaching recruitment details like post-wise vacancy distribution, salary, age and educational qualification is given below. The cut-off date for determining various eligibility criteria (educational qualifications, age limit etc) will be the closing date for submission of online application. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST/ NVS Employee/ PwD/ Ex-Serviceman will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Assistant Commissioner (Post Code 01):

Pay Scale – Rs 78800-209200 (Level-12)
Age Limit – Maximum 45 years
Essential Qualification – Master’s Degree in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce from a recognized University and holding analogous post or post of Principal in the Pay Level-12 OR Minimum 05 years experience in the Pay Level-10 and above in the Educational Planning and Administration in any Govt/ Semi Govt/ Autonomous Organization.

Assistant Commissioner (Admn) (Post Code 02):

Pay Scale – Rs 67700-208700 (Level-11)
Age Limit – Maximum 45 years
Essential Qualification – Graduate Degree from a recognized University and holding analogous post on regular basis or 08 years service in the Pay Level-7 and Possessing experience of handling Administrative/ Financial matters in a responsible capacity in Central/ State Govt/ Autonomous/ Statutory Organization.

Female Staff Nurse (Post Code 03):

Pay Scale – Rs 44900-142400 (Level-7)
Age Limit – Maximum 35 years
Essential Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent and Grade ‘A’ (03 years) Diploma/ Certificate in Nursing or B.Sc (Nursing) from a recognised University/ Institution. Candidate must have registration with Indian/ State Nursing Council and practical experience of 02 years in Hospital/ Clinic. Working Knowledge of Hindi/ Regional Language and English, is desirable qualification.

Assistant Section Officer (Post Code 04):

Pay Scale – Rs 35400-112400 (Level-6)
Age Limit – Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification – Degree from a recognized University and knowledge of Computer Operation. 03 years experience in administrative, financial matters in Central Govt/ Autonomous organization under the Central Govt, is desirable qualification.

Audit Assistant (Post Code 05):

Age Limit – Between 18 and 30 years
Essential Qualification – B.Com from a recognized University. 03 years experience of accounts works in a Govt/ Semi Govt/ Autonomous organization, is desirable qualification.

Junior Translation Officer (Post Code 06):

Essential Qualification – Master’s Degree from a recognized University with Hindi/ English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of exam at the Degree level. Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or 02 years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/ State Govt offices, including Govt of India Undertaking.

Junior Engineer Civil (Post Code 07):

Essential Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognized Board. Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m and Typing Speed of 40 w.p.m in English corresponding to 12000 KDPH or Shorthand speed of 60 w.p.m and Typing Speed of 30 w.p.m in Hindi corresponding to 9000 KDPH.

Electrician cum Plumber (Post Code 13):

Educational Qualification – 10th Pass and ITI Certificate or equivalent in the trade of Electrician or Wireman/ Plumbing from a recognized Institute with at least 02 years experience in electrical installation, wiring and plumbing work. 02 Years experience in electrical installation and maintenance of appliances, is desirable qualification.

Lab Attendant (Post Code 14):

Age Limit – Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass with a certificate/ diploma in Laboratory Technique OR 12th Pass with Science stream from a recognized Board/ University.

Pay Scale – Rs 18000-56900 (Level-1)
Age Limit – Between 18 and 30 years
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized Board and 10 years experience of working in Govt residential organization/ schools. In case of casual workers working in JNVs Mess and not possessing matriculation have to pass Class 10th within 02 years of joining.

Multi Tasking Staff (Post Code 16):

NVS Non Teaching Recruitment Selection Process and Exam Centers

The selection process will consist of Stage-1 (Computer Based Test) and Stage-2 (Interview/ Skill Test/ Typing Test) wherever applicable. For the post of Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner (Admn) and Junior Engineer (Civil), candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview put together.

For the post of Female Staff Nurse, Assistant Section Officer, Audit Assistant, Junior Translation Officer, Computer Operator, Catering Assistant, Lab Attendant & Multi Tasking Staff, the selection to the post will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the CBT only.

For the post of Stenographer, JSA (HQ/RO Cadre), JSA (JNV Cadre), Electrician cum Plumber and Mess Helper, candidates shortlisted on the basis of CBT will be called for Trade/ Skill Test which will be of qualifying in nature only and carries no weightage.

Online Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates will have to apply online for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Non Teaching Vacancies through the website navodaya.gov.in or through the direct link below up to 10 Feb 2022. Before registration of online form, keep ready a valid Email ID, Mobile number and scanned copies of passport size color photograph, signature, 10th pass certificate, Degree/ Certificate & Mark sheet, Caste certificate (for OBC/ SC/ ST), PwD certificate (if applicable) and Service Certificate (for Ex-Serviceman).

STEP 1 (Registration) – Firstly sign-up by submitting Post, Candidate Name, Mobile number and E-mail ID. On submission the details, you will receive your User ID and Password on the registered email ID and Mobile number.

STEP 2 (Submission of Application) – Login to the portal using User ID & Password and then fill other mandatory details and complete personal details, qualification details and upload photo (max 100 kb), signature (max 30kb) and relevant documents. Thereafter you will have to deposit the fee (if applicable).

Finally, take a printout of the system generated application for further requirements at the time of interview/ document verification. You are not required to send printout of online application and documents by Post to NVS.

Requisite fee can be remitted by using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI. SC/ ST/ PH categories are not required to pay the fee.
