Indian Navy SSC Officer Selection Process
Eligible candidates, whose applications are received by due date will be called for INET(O) to be conducted tentatively in February 2020 at designated exam centres. Admit Card (Call letter) for the online examination indicating date, time and place will be available to download from the official website by last week of January 2020.
The INET(O) will be of 02 Hours duration and will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions on English, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General Science, Mathematical Aptitude & General Knowledge. Each section will be of 100 Marks with negative marking of 01 Mark for incorrect answer.
After the exam, approx 8000 candidates will be shortlisted for Services Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of INET(O) rank and choice of preference of entries. The SSB interviews will be tentatively conducted from April 2020. Selection for SSB interview and SSB date will be intimated via Email/ SMS to all shortlisted candidates.
SSB interview will be conducted in Stage 1 (Intelligence Test, Picture Perception & Discussion test) and Stage 2 (Psychological testing, Group testing & Interview). The SSB interviews will be conducted at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam/ Kolkata from April 2020. SSB qualified and medically fit candidates will be selected for training in the order of All India Merit depending on the number of vacancies.

Examination fee: Rs 215/- (SC/ ST/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees).
Required Documents – All relevant documents (in original), marks sheets upto 5th & 7th Semester for regular and integrated B.E/ B.Tech courses & other degree examination respectively, date of birth proof (as per 10th & 12th certificate), CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech, Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) issued by DGCA, Government of India, and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/ TIFF format, for attaching while filling up the online application.
