ITBP Paramedical SI ASI Head Constable Vacancies
Pay Scale and Allowances:
Sub Inspector – Rs 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level-6.
Assistant Sub Inspector – Rs 29200-92300 as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level-5.
Head Constable – Rs 25500-81100 as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level-4.
Allowances include DA, Ration Money, Special Compensatory Allowance (while posted in specified border areas), free accommodation or HRA, TA, Leave Travel Concession, free medical facilities and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules.

Age Limit:
SI Staff Nurse – 21 to 30 years as on 28 Jul 2024 i.e. candidate should be born between 29 Jul 1994 and 28 Jul 2003 (both dates inclusive).
ASI Pharmacist – 20 to 28 years as on 28 Jul 2024 i.e. candidate should be born between 29 Jul 1996 and 28 Jul 2004 (both dates inclusive).
HC Midwife (Female) – 18 to 25 years as on 28 Jul 2024 i.e. candidate should be born between 29 Jul 1999 and 28 Jul 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification (All Posts):
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse) – 12th Pass (10+2) with Degree/ Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) and candidate should be registered with Central/ State Nursing Council. As a desirable qualification candidate should have three years experience as Nurse.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) – 12th Pass (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with Diploma in Pharmacy from any Central/ State Govt institution and candidate should be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Head Constable (Midwife) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with Degree/ Diploma in Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) and candidate should be registered with Central/ State Nursing Council.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician) – 12th Pass (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and Diploma in Medical laboratory Technology from a recognized institution with 01 year experience as Laboratory Technician in medical set up.

Selection Process, Physical PET PST and Exam Pattern
ITBP Paramedical recruitment process consists of Phase 1 (Physical Efficiency Test/ PET and Physical Standard Test/ PST), Phase 2 (Written Exam of 100 Marks) and Phase 3 (Documentation and Medical Examination). For selection, post and category wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse):
Run/ Race (Male candidates) – 100 Meters race within 16 Seconds and 1.6 Kms run within 07 Minutes 30 Seconds.
Run/ Race (Female candidates) – 100 Meters race within 18 Seconds and 800 Meters race within 04 Minutes 45 Seconds.
Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) and Head Constable (Midwife):
Male candidates – Run: 1.6 Kms within 07 Minutes 30 Seconds, Long Jump: 11 Feet (in 03 chances) and High Jump: 3½ Feet (in 03 chances).
Female candidates – Run: 800 Meters within 04 Minutes 45 Seconds, Long Jump: 09 Feet (in 03 chances) and High Jump: 03 Feet (in 03 chances).
Physical Standards Test (PST)

Chest – Not applicable.
Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Written Examination
Candidates qualified in PET/ PST will have to undergo written examination i.e. OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT) of maximum 100 Marks. The written exam of SI Staff Nurse, ASI Pharmacist and HC Midwife will be of total 02 Hours duration.
The question paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, English/ Hindi Comprehension and Trade/ Profession as per the pattern below:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
- General Awareness: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
- Numerical Aptitude: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
- English/ Hindi Comprehension: 10 Questions (10 Marks)
- Trade/ Profession Related: 60 Questions (60 Marks)
The minimum cut-off percentage of marks for qualifying in written exam will be 35% for UR/ EWS candidates and 33% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. There will be no negative marking applicable in written exam.

Documentation
Candidates will have to produce all original documents/ certificates in proof of details as given in the application. The following documents/ certificates (original with photocopies) will be verified at the time of documentation:
1. Educational Certificates.
2. Professional Certificates.
3. Experience Certificate (as applicable).
4. Date of Birth Certificate (10th mark sheet/ certificate).
5. SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) Certificate in prescribed format (as applicable).
6. EWS Certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
7. Domicile Certificate or PAN or Aadhar Card or Driving License or Voter Card for verification of citizenship.
8. Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Serviceman).
9. Four (04) latest passport size photographs.
10. Height/ Chest relaxation certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
11. No Objection Certificate (for candidates serving in Govt services).
Practical Exam
Candidates qualified in documentation will be put through Practical Exam of maximum 100 Marks. The exam will be qualifying in nature and you have to obtain minimum 50% marks to qualify. The practical exam pattern for SI Staff Nurse, ASI Pharmacist and Head Constable Midwife is as follows:
- Viva-voce: 40 Marks
- Instruments identification: 30 Marks
- Procedures: 30 Marks
After completion of practical exam, post and category wise merit list will be prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in written exam. Finally, shortlisted candidates will have to go undergo Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to assess their fitness as per the Medical Standards. Candidates declared unfit will be allowed to undergo Review Medical Examination (RME).

After submitting the online form, take printout of the system generated application form for further requirements at the time of PET/ PST. The printout of online application form or any other document is not required to send by Post.

ASI Pharmacist – Rs 100/-
Application fee can be paid online through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card. SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are not required to pay the fee.
