Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India going to conduct open recruitment rally in border districts Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh of Uttarakhand as Special recruitment drive. Recruitment Rally for eligible candidates belonging to border districts of Uttarakhand (Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh) for recruitment in the post of Constable (General Duty) Group C will be held from 27 October 2014 to 31 October 2014.
A pre-training to guide the eligible and interested candidates will be organized from 07.10.2014 to 22.10.2014 at the recruitment venues as given in the table below.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
Total Number of Vacancies: 220
(UR-127, SC-50, ST-05, OBC-38)
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years (as on 01 August 2014).
Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board or University.

Physical Standards
Height:
Gen/SC and OBC- NCL category: 170 cm
For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 165 cm
ST category: 162.5 cm
Chest (Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm)
Gen/SC and OBC- NCL category: 80 cm
For candidates belonging to Kumauni and Garhwali categories: 78 cm
ST category: 76 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Selection/Recruitment Process
The selection process shall consist of Height Bar Test, Race(PET), Physical Standard Test(PST), Documentation, Biometric identification, Written Test (100 Marks), Merit Lists and Medical Examination.
How to Apply
Eligible and interested candidates may report at the designated recruitment centre/venue on given date and time allotted for their district with duly filled application form, Admit Card, Registration Slip and required documents.
