Indian Navy Chargeman Recruitment Exam 03/2019
Pay Scale (Salary) – Rs 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC Pay matrix level 6 (General Central Service, Group B, Non-Industrial, Non Gazetted)
Age Limit – Maximum 30 years as on application closing date (age relaxation for eligible categories will be as per extant rules issued by the Govt of India from time to time)
Educational Qualification:
Chargeman (Mechanic) – Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Institute with 02 years working experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of design or production or Maintenance of Engineering equipment or system.
Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) – Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university or institution with 02 years experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of chemical engineering or processing.

Indian Navy Chargeman Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a computer based online examination (discipline wise) followed by document verification and medical examination. Exam date, time and venue will intimated through registered E-mail ID and websites www.joinindiannavy.gov.in and www.indiannavy.nic.in. The exam will be of total 100 Marks and will consist of 100 Objective type questions on General Knowledge/ Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude/ Logical Reasoning, General English and Applied Science & Specialization. The appointment of provisionally selected candidates will be strictly based on their relative merit position in exam subject to verification of documents, Medical Examination and other requirements.
Examination Fee
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 205/- excluding applicable taxes and charges through online mode by using Net Banking or Visa/ Master/ Credit/ Debit Card. SC/ ST/ PwBDs/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Online Application form, Required Documents and Notification
Eligible and desirous candidates are required to apply online for the Indian Navy Chargeman Defence Vacancies through the website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from 13 May to 26 May 2019. To apply online, firstly go through the registration process and then proceed to complete the remaining steps such as filling of application form and uploading of documents, photograph & signature. The printout of online application form or any other documents are not required to send to the office.
