DRDO MTS Recruitment CEPTAM Multi Tasking Staff
Nature of duties of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) – Physical maintenance of records of the section, Document binding, General cleanliness & upkeep of the section/ unit, Carrying of files & other papers within the building, Photocopying, sending of Fax etc, Other non-clerical work in the section/ unit, Assisting in routine office work like diary, dispatch etc including on computer, Delivering of dak (outside the building) etc.
Pay Scale (Salary) – Rs 18000-56900 (As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-1) and other benefits/ allowances as per extant Govt of India rules.

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)
Age Limit – 18 to 25 years as on 23.01.2020 (Relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ ESM/ PWD/ WIDOWS/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Central Govt Civilian Employees, Disabled Defence Services Personnel, Persons Domiciled In J&K State during the period from 01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt of India rules).
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ Institution.
DRDPO MTS Selection Process, Tier-1 and Tier-2 CBT Exam Pattern
The selection process will consist of Tier-1 (for Screening) and Tier-2 (for Final Selection). Tier-1 and Tier-2 exam will be of 10th Standard and will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The cut-off marks for Tier-1 (CBT) will be fixed by CEPTAM as per requirement. The Tier-1 and Tier-1 will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions only. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
Tier-1 CBT (Screening) – The exam will be of 90 Minutes duration and will consist of 100 Objective type questions of total 100 Marks (01 Mark each) as per the pattern below:
- General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions (35 Marks)
- General Awareness – 30 Questions (30 Marks)
- Quantitative Aptitude and Numerical Ability – 35 Questions (35 Marks)
The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-1 is 40% for UR/ ESM/ OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ ST candidates. The provisional selection for Tier-2 will be based on the merit obtained in Tier-1 exam depending upon the post/ category/ sub-category of the candidate.
Tier-2 CBT (Final Selection) – Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-2 on the basis of Tier-1 exam merit in a ratio of 1:10 (Number of vacancy: Number of shortlisted candidates). The Tier-2 exam will also be of 90 Minutes duration and will consist of 100 Objective type questions of total 100 Marks (01 Mark each) as per the pattern below:
- General Science – 40 Questions (40 Marks)
- General Maths – 40 Questions (40 Marks)
- General English – 20 Questions (20 Marks)
For final selection, category wise merit lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Tier-2 exam.

Exam Cities (Centre) for Tier-2 (CBT) – Centre for the Tier-2 Exam will be decided by DRDO CEPTAM based on the operational requirement.

Online Application form, Important Dates and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online for the DRDO CEPTAM Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Bharti Vacancies through the website drdo.gov.in or detceptam.com/drdoceptam/ from 23 December 2019 to 23 January 2020. To apply online complete all the parts as registration, application form filling and fee payment.
Firstly, you will have to register online by filling up the basic details. After successful registration, you will get a User ID & Password (note it down & keep safely), which will be used to login for filling of online application. You will have to fill your name, date of birth, father’s name and mother’s name as given in 10th/ 12th/ ITI certificate. Before applying online, keep ready a mobile number and valid & active personal email id and scanned copies of the following documents.
Required Documents (Scanned):
1. 10th Class or ITI Certificate for Age proof & Educational Qualification Requirement (EQR)
2. Photograph (recent colour photograph taken within last 30 days). Keep sufficient copies of the same photograph for future use.
3. Signature on plain white paper
4. Identity proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, PAN, Driving License etc.)
After submission of online application form, take a printout of application and keep safely. The printed copy of application is not required to be sent to CEPTAM. However, candidates will have to produce duly signed printed copy of application at the time of document verification, if provisionally shortlisted.
Application fee:
Candidates are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee online through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. SC, ST, PWD, Ex-servicemen and Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Exam Date and Admit Card (Tier-1 and Tier-2 CBT)
The exam date will be intimated by DRDO which will be updated on this page soon. The exam date, time and venue will be mentioned on admit card and the e-admit card will be available to download/ print on the official website www.drdo.gov.in about 02 Weeks before the exam. Admit Card (Call letter) will not be sent by Post. Candidates are required to carry the admit card (in colour) with original photo Id (as mentioned in the application form) for appearing in exam.
