Central Industrial Security Force invited applications from meritorious sportsmen and women for filling up the following 215 Vacancies of Head Constable against Sports Quota. CISF Sports Quota Bharti Head Constable Vacancies

Post Name – Head Constable General Duty (प्रधान आरक्षक सामान्य ड्यूटी).
Pay Scale – Rs 25500-81100 (Pay matrix level-4).
Total number of Vacancies – 215 Posts

Discipline wise Vacancy Details:
Head Constable (Male): Athletics-40, Boxing-04, Basket Ball-08, Football-07, Gymnastics-02, Hand Ball-05, Hockey-02, Shooting-02, Swimming-06, Volleyball-02, Weight Lifting-17, Wrestling-31, Taekwondo-07 and Body Building-14.
Head Constable (Female): Athletics-34, Boxing-06, Shooting-01, Weight Lifting-11 and Wrestling-16.

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Qualification)

Age Limit – 18 to 23 Years as on 01.08.2023 i.e. the candidate should be born between 02.08.2000 and 01.08.2005 (Age relaxation upto 05 years for SC/ST and upto 03 years for OBC candidates. Relaxable upto 45 years in the case of departmental candidates).

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass (10+2) from a recognized Board/ educational Institution and represented State/ National/ International in Games, Sports and Athletics.

Meritorious sportsman/ sportswoman who fulfill the following eligibility criteria and have participated in the championships during the period from 01.01.2021 to 28.11.2023 or in last edition of any Tournament/ Competition/ Games (as applicable), are eligible to apply for the CISF Sports Quota Bharti 2023-2024.

Sports Qualification (Individual Event):
Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/ Junior International tournament. OR
Should have represented a State or equivalent unit, in National Games/ National Championship in Senior/ Junior level. OR
Any medal in all India Inter University Championship. OR
Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship.

Sports Qualification (Team Event):
Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/ Junior International tournament. OR
Should have represented in State team or equivalent unit, in National Games/ Championship in Senior/ Junior level. OR
Member of medal winning team in All India Inter-University Championship. OR
Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship.

CISF Sports Quota Selection Process and Physical Test

The selection process consists of Stage-1 (Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test & Documentation) and Stage-2 (Medical Examination) as given in detail below. Eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued Admit card or call letter to appear in the recruitment process. Final selection as CISF Head Constable (Sports Quota) will be done on the basis of proficiency test and sports achievement/ performance.

The Admit Card for all the stages of recruitment will be issued to the candidates to download through CISF Recruitment website cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in (will not be sent by post).

Identification will be checked by the board of officers at the time of Trial Test/ Proficiency Test/ PST & Documentation and Medical Examination from Identity Cards as produced by you. Biometric credentials (LTR/ RTI/ Fingers impression) of all candidates will be registered before conduct of examination which will be used in all further stages of recruitment.

The detailed Selection Process of CISF Sports Quota Head Constable (GD) is as follows:

1. Trial Test in Sports Events

Firstly all candidates will have to undergo verification of identity including Biometric capture at the centre before Trial Test. Thereafter, all successful candidates will have to undergo Trial Test of 20 Marks in the respective sports event. The Trial test will be qualifying in nature. Minimum cut off marks in Trial Test for all events will be 10 marks, to be secured by all category candidates.

2. Proficiency Test

Candidates qualified in Trial test will be put through the Proficiency Test of 40 Marks. The minimum cut off marks in Proficiency Test for all events/ sports will be 20 Marks. Candidates who fail to secure the qualifying marks will be issued rejection slip.

3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates qualified in Trial test and Proficiency test will be put through Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates will be measured for height, chest and weight (as per the physical standards given below) by the Board of Officers.

Physical Standards for Head Constable GD:
Height:
All Candidates: Male-167 Cms, Female-153 Cms
ST Candidates and Candidates belonging to Hill areas (Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Dogras, Marathas and Adivasis): Male-160 Cms, Female-153 Cms
Chest (Only for Male candidates): 81-86 Cms
Weight – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.

4. Documentation

Candidate qualified in Trial test, Proficiency test and Physical standard test will have to go through documentation (checking of documents). In this test, candidates will have to produce all original documents/ certificates related to age, education, caste, sports achievement, height/ chest relaxation etc (as given below) in the support of details given in the application form.

• Educational certificates (12th Pass or its equivalent).
• Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th Pass certificate).
• SC/ ST, OBC and EWS Certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
• Certificate of relaxation in height and chest for the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Adivasis in prescribed format (if applicable).
• Certificates of Sports achievements.
• Certificates (Forms) issued by the recognized federations/ associations as per Appendix A, B, C & D (as applicable).
• No Objection Certificate in case of persons serving in Govt/ Semi- Govt Departments from their Head of Office in prescribed format.
• Four passport size recent photographs of the candidates duly printed the date of photograph (i.e. not more than 03 months old from the date of publication of this notification).
• Photo bearing identification proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Identity Card issued by University/ College, Pan Card in original as mentioned in application form.

5. Final Selection List

After completion of documentation, merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in proficiency test and marks (out of 10 marks) accorded in sports achievement. The final selection will be based on the performance of candidates during the course of Proficiency Test and the marks accorded to the candidate having meritorious certificate/ achievement in the respective sports events.

6. Medical Examination

Finally selected candidates will be put through the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates declared unfit during DME will be allowed to undergo Review Medical Examination (RME). Appointment in the CISF as Head Constable (Sports Quota) will be subject to candidates’s fitness in the medical exam as per the instructions issued from time to time.

Medical Standards:
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, bow legs, squint eyes, inability to close that left eye, inability to flex the fingers often, varicose vein and any other obvious deformities and should bear good mental health.

Eye Sight:
Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision) – Better eye: N6 and Worse eye: N9
Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant vision) – Better eye: 6/6 and Worse eye: 6/9
Refraction – Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.
Color vision – CP III BY ISIHARA
In right handed person, the Right eye is better eye and vice versa.
Binocular vision is required.

Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and desirous candidates can apply online for the CISF Sports Quota Recruitment through cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in up to 28th Nov 2023. Keep ready your mobile number, e-mail id, photo identity card and scanned copies of recent passport size colour photograph (20-50 Kb) & signature (10-20 Kb) in JPEG format and other required documents (10th and 12th certificate) in PDF format before applying online.

Follow the important steps below for submitting CISF Sports Quota application form:

One Time Registration – Firstly register yourself for CISF Recruitment (candidates registered already are not required to register again). Submit your basic details, contact details and declaration in the registration form. Thereafter, your Registration Number and Password will be sent to the registered Email-ID and mobile number.

Application Form – Login to CISF Recruitment website and then click on HEAD CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY) AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA-2023. Submit all the required details in the application form and then upload photograph, signature and required documents. Thereafter, pay the application fee (if applicable).

Finally, take a printout of the filled application form for reference and future requirements. You will have to submit the printout of online application along with self attested documents in support of your eligibility at the time of Trial/ Proficiency Test/ PST and Documentation.

Application fee – Rs 100/- (One hundred only).
The fee can be paid through UPI, Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards or Rupay cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan by selecting fee payment mode option. SC/ ST and Female candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
