Age Limit – 18 to 25 years as on application closing date (age relaxation as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification:
Junior Office Assistant (LDC) – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and English typing @35 w.p.m on computer or Hindi typing @ 30 w.p.m on computer. Candidate should have basic computer knowledge.
Firemen – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Tradesmen Mate – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
Vehicle Mechanic and Tailor – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized Board and Certificate in the trade from a recognized ITI or 03 years training or experience of actual work in the trade or allied trade in a govt workshops or in a private firm of repute.
Selection Process, Physical and Exam Syllabus
The selection process will consist of Physical Standard Test, Physical Endurance Test, Practical Test and Written Test (as applicable). The recruitment tests will be conducted at CAD Pulgaon. Dates for Physical Tests/ Written Test for all categories will be intimated in the Admit Card (Call letter) only to individuals whose applications received through Ordinary Post/ Registered Post/ Speed Post and are found correct in all respects after scrutiny by Board of Officers.
Physical Endurance/ Skill Test (Qualifying)
Junior Office Assistant (LDC):
English Typing Test @ 35 w.p.m and Hindi Typing Test @ 30 w.p.m.
Time Allowed – As decided by Board of Officers.
(35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 05 key depression for each word)
Candidates qualified in typing test will only be called for the written test. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in written test.
Tailor:
The selection process for the post of Tailor will consist of Practical test (qualifying) and Written test.
Fireman (Male candidates only):
Physical Measurement Test – Height: 165 Cms, Chest: 81.5-85 Cms and Weight: 50 Kgs
Physical Endurance Test – The PET will consist of 1.6 Km run within 06 Minutes, Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs to 183 Meters distance within 96 Seconds, Vertical rope climbing (03 Meters) and Clearing 2.5 meters wide ditch and landing on both feet (long jump).
Candidates qualified in Physical Endurance Test will only be called for the written test. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in written test.
Tradesman Mate:
Physical Endurance Test – The PET for the post of Tradesman (Mate) will be qualifying in nature. Candidates are required to pass the following tests:
Run – 1.5 Km (for male candidates) within 06 Minutes.
Carrying a weight 50 Kgs to distance of 200 Meters within 100 seconds.
Candidates qualified in Physical Endurance Test will only be called for the written test. Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in written test.
Vehicle Mechanical:
The selection process for the post of Vehicle Mechanical will consist of Practical test (qualifying) and Written test.
Written Examination Syllabus:
Written exam question paper for Fireman, Tradesman Mate, Tailor and Vehicle Mechanical will be of 10th Standard and 12th Standard for Junior Office Assistant (LDC). The written exam will be of 02 Hours duration (20 Minutes extra for visually handicapped candidates) and will consist of total 150 Objective type questions (01 Mark each) of maximum 150 Marks as per the syllabus below.
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
General English – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
General Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the CAD Pulgaon Civilian Defence Vacancies in the prescribed application form by downloading from the website indianarmy.nic.in or directly through the link below. Send application form complete in all respect along with the following required documents through Ordinary Post/ Registered Post/ Speed Post to “Commandant, CAD Pulgaon, Dist-Wardha, Maharashtra, PIN-442303” so as to reach on or before the closing date.
Envelope containing application must be superscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TRADESMAN MATE/ JUNIOR OFFICE ASSISTANT/ FIREMAN/ TAILOR/ VEHICLE MECHANICAL (EX-SERVICEMAN/ UR/ PH/ SC/ ST/ OBC)” (Delete whichever is not applicable).

1. Date of Birth Certificate.
2. Medical Certificate from a registered medical practitioner for physical fitness.
3. Caste Certificate as per Appendix B.
4. Education Certificates along with the marks sheets (10th onwards).
5. Photocopy of Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Serviceman).
6. Disability Certificate for physically Handicapped issued by CMO/ Civil Surgeon of Govt Hospital as per Appendix C (if applicable).
7. Domicile certificate (for residents of Jammu UT, Kashmir UT & Laddakh UT availing age relaxation, as applicable).
8. Three additional passport size photographs.
9. In case of OBC, attach ‘Non Creamy Layer’ certificate.
