BSF Sports Quota Recruitment 275 Constable GD 2024-2025

Border Security Force invited applications for recruitment to the following 275 Vacancies of Constable GD (Group C) under Sports Quota. All eligible male and female meritorious sportsperson can apply online for the BSF Sports Quota Bharti Vacancies through rectt.bsf.gov.in up to 30th Dec 2024. BSF Sports Quota Recruitment Constable GD 2024-2025 as application form, eligibility criteria, salary, vacancy details, physical, selection process, notification etc is given below.

BSF Sports Quota Bharti Sportsperson Vacancies

Pay Scale – Rs 21700-69100 (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix level 3) plus allowances admissible to Central Govt employee from time to time under the rule.

Total Number of Vacancies – 275 Posts (Male-127 and Female-148).

Sports Discipline wise Vacancy Details:

Male: Archery-03, Athletics-13, Badminton-04, Swimming-17, Diving-03, Water Polo-01, Basketball-04, Boxing-07, Cycling-04, Cross Country-01, Equestrian-05, Football-04, Gymnastics-06, Handball-02, Hockey-04, Ice-Skiing-06, Judo-02, Karate-03, Volleyball-04, Weight Lifting-05, Water Sports-06, Wrestling (Greco Roman)-04, Wrestling (Free Style)-05, Shooting-05, Taekwondo-05 and Wushu-04.

Female: Archery-03, Athletics-16, Badminton-04, Swimming-17, Diving-03, Water Polo-01, Basketball-10, Boxing-05, Cycling-04, Cross Country-01, Equestrian-05, Gymnastics-06, Handball-12, Hockey-07, Judo-04, Karate-04, Volleyball-10, Weight Lifting-03, Water Sports-06, Wrestling (Free Style)-05, Shooting-03, Taekwondo-06, Wushu-07 and Fencing-06.

Age, Qualification and Physical Standards

Age Limit – 18 to 23 Years as on 01st Jan 2025 (Relaxation in upper age limit will be as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules).

Educational Qualification – Sportsperson should be 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized Board and have represented State/ Country/ University/ School in the National/ International/ Inter University Games/Sports.

Sports Qualification:

Individual Event (International/ National) – The sportsperson who have participated or won medal(s) in any International Sports events recognised by International Olympic Association as a member of the Indian team for last 02 years, or players who have won medal(s) in any National Games or Championship recognised by Indian Olympic Association Sports Federation of (concerned sports) in Junior National level Championship/ Championship held between 31.12.2022 to 30.12.2024.

Team Event (International/ National) – The sportsperson who have won any medals in National Games/ National Championship Both (Junior & Senior)/ Any recognised sports meet of respective federation/ Association recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or conducted by the India Olympic Association during the period of from 31.12.2022 to 30.12.2024 while representing State/ UT/ Sports Control Board, Sports persons should be playing member of the team.

Height:
GEN/ SC/ OBC – Male: 170 Cms and Female: 157 Cms.
ST Candidates – Male: 162.5 Cms and Female: 150 Cms.
Candidates hailing from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belonging to the States of Assam, Himachal Pradesh and UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – Male: 165 Cms and Female: 155 Cms.
Candidates hailing from NE States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura – Male: 162.5 Cms and Female: 152.5 Cms.
ST Candidates hailing from NE States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura – Male: 157 Cms and Female: 147.5 Cms.

Chest (for Male only):
GEN/ SC/ OBC – 80-85 Cms.
ST Candidates – 76-81 Cms.
Candidates hailing from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belonging to the States of Assam, Himachal Pradesh and UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – 78-83 Cms.
Candidates hailing from NE States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura – 77-82 Cms.

Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates.

BSF Sports Quota Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of Documentation (checking of testimonials/ documents), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. Eligible candidates whose application form is found to be in order will be issued online Admit Card (Call letter) indicating the date and venue to appear in the recruitment process.

Candidate will be given marks for any one highest medal secured by him/her during last 02 years. If any candidate has secured more than 01 medal in particular competition, in that case he/she shall be awarded marks for only the highest medal/position secured in the competition and marks given to him/her for separate competitions shall not be included in overall sports achievements.

For selection, final merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of their sports achievements, age factor and vacancy in the particular event and weight category.

Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates will have to register and submit online application form for the BSF Sports Quota Recruitment through the website rectt.bsf.gov.in from 01st Dec to 30th Dec 2024.

Before applying online, keep ready educational qualification details, email id, mobile number and scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature, thumb Impression and supporting documents. The digital size of photograph, signature, thumb impression and documents should not be more than 50 KB. To apply online for the BSF Sports Quota Bharti, follow the important instructions below:

STEP 1 (One Time Registration) – Firstly go to the One Time Registration (My Profile) Page and submit the required details as personal information, address, qualification, work experience, certificate/ document and other details. Thereafter a Registration ID and Password will be generated and sent to you through the registered Email Id and Mobile number.

STEP 2 (Filling of Online Application) – Now login to the BSF Recruitment website using your Registration ID and Password (generated in Step 1). Fill the application form with all the required details and upload photograph, signature, thumb impression and supporting documents.

STEP 3 (Payment of Application fee) – Finally, pay the application fee (if applicable) through online mode using Net banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and nearest Common Service Centre. Thereafter take a print out of online application form for record/ reference. Printout of application form is not required to be sent to BSF.

Application fee: Male candidates belonging to GEN/ OBC Category will have to pay Rs 147.20/- as application fee through Net banking, Debit Card, Credit Card and nearest Common Service Centre. SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
