Age Limit (As on 01 Oct 2018)
Soldier GD – 17½ to 21 Years
Soldier Clerk/SKT, Soldier Technical, Tradesmen – 17½ to 23 Years
Educational Qualification
Soldier GD – 10th pass with 45% Marks in aggregate and 33% Marks in each subject. In case of 12th and higher education, stipulation of percentage is waived off.
Soldier Clerk/ SKT – 12th pass (10+2) with 60% Marks in aggregate (minimum 50% Marks in each subject) and have studied English & Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th or 10th.
Soldier Technical – 12th pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 50% Marks in aggregate and minimum 40% Marks in each subject.
Nursing Assistant (NA) – 12th Pass in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Tradesmen – 10th/ 08th pass

How to Apply
Eligible candidates may apply online for ARO Jammu and ARO Srinagar Recruitment Rally through the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in as per above mentioned dates. After the online application registration process you may appear in the recruitment rally at scheduled locations (Dhar Road Udhampur and Bandipora) on respective dates as mentioned in Admit Card only. You will have to carry all required documents at the rally site such as educational certificates/ marks sheet, domicile certificate, character certificate, unmarried certificate, ID proof, other certificates (NCC/Computer/Sports etc), passport size photographs etc.
All the required information as Rally date, time, category, essential documents etc will be given in Admit Card. You may download your Admit Card (Call letter) after the closing date of receipt of online application. Also, ARO wise Rally Schedule (district & date wise) for Soldier GD, Tradesmen, Clerk/SKT, Nursing Assistant, Technical etc posts may be informed through local newspapers.
