Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)
Age Limit:
Lower Division Clerk, Translator, Stenographer Grade II, Barber and Cook – 18 Years to 25 Years.
Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade), Artist or Model Maker and Draughtsman – 18 Years to 27 Years.
The crucial date for determining age limit will be the last date of receipt of application i.e. 25-07-2022. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Servicemen/ PWD will be applicable as per Govt rules. As proof of age, the date of birth as recorded in the 10th/ 12th Certificate/ Marksheet will be accepted for determining the age.
Educational Qualification:
Draughtsman – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and Diploma in Draughtsmanship of a minimum duration of 02 years from a recognized Institute.
Lower Division Clerk – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. Skill test norms- English Typing @ 35 words per minute on computer or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute on computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500/9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
Stenographer Grade II – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Skill test norms- Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
Civilian Motor Driver – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and candidate must have Civilian Driving license for heavy vehicles with two years experience of driving such vehicles.
Cook – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and candidate must have knowledge of Indian cooking and proficiency in trade.
Translator – 12th Pass (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Candidate must have proficiency in Hindi, Certificate equivalent to Visharad/ Bhusan/ Kovid and have Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Institution. As a desirable qualification, candidate should have previous experience as Translator in military units.
Barber – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with proficiency in Barber’s Trade Job. As a desirable qualification, candidate should have 01 year experience in the trade.
Artist or Model Maker – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and Certificate in Drawing from a recognized Institute.

Army Infantry School Bharti Process and Exam Syllabus
The selection process will consist of written test and skill/ trade test (wherever necessary). Candidates whose application is found to be correct and who are eligible for written test will be issued Admit Card. In case of large number of applications received, the number of candidates may be restricted for written exam on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the minimum essential qualification or desirable qualifications or higher than the minimum qualifications or experience.
Candidates qualified in written exam will have to undergo skill/ trade test (as applicable). The recruitment tests will be conducted in Mhow (MP) and Belgaum (Karnataka). Exam date, time and venue for written exam for all Group C posts will be intimated through Admit Card (Call letter).
Written Examination – The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions of Class 10th/ 12th standard. The written exam will be of 02 Hours duration consisting of total 150 objective type questions (01 Mark each) of maximum 150 Marks. The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will comprise of questions based on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General English and Numerical Aptitude as per the syllabus below:
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)

General English – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Written Examination Syllabus:
General Intelligence and Reasoning – The test will include questions of non verbal type and may include questions on analogies, similarities and difference, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision marking, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series. The test will also include question designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical function.
General Awareness – The question will be designed to test: the ability of candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society, knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects. The test also includes questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific research etc.
General English – The questions will be designed to test candidate’s understanding the Basic of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms and its correct usage, writing ability etc.
Numerical Aptitude – The test will include questions on problems relating to Number systems, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operation, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Table and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and distance, Ratio & Time, Time and work etc.
For selection, final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in written test subject to qualifying the skill/ trade/ practical test (as applicable), medical fitness test, police verification, education and caste verification. On final selection, the candidate will be liable for All India Service Liabilities.

Application fee:
