Educational Qualification
Material Assistant – Graduate in any discipline or Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering.
LDC & Pharmacist – 12th pass or equivalent qualification. For the pharmacist post, 02 years diploma in Pharmacy and registration with State Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
Tradesman, Fireman, Tele Operator, Tailor, Dhobi & MTS – 10th pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit (As on application closing date)
Material Assistant – 18 to 27 years
All other posts – 18 to 25 years
Recruitment and Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of Physical endurance test (applicable for Tradesman & Fireman), Written test (applicable for all posts) and Skill test (applicable for LDC & Tele operator). All the recruitment tests will be conducted at 21 Field Ammunition Depot (FAD) location. Exam date and time will be intimated to all eligible candidates through Call letter (Admit Card).
The written exam (10th/ 12th/ Graduation standard) will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective type questions of total 150 Marks as per the pattern below:
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
General English – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
General Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)

Eligible and desirous Male/Female Indian Citizens may apply for 21 FAD Combined Recruitment Civilian Defence Jobs in the prescribed application form by downloading from www.indianarmy.nic.in or from the link provided below. Send application form by Post along with 01 self-addressed envelope (Size 12×18 Cms) with Rs 25/- postal stamps and copies of required documents to Commandant, 21 Field Ammunition Depot, PIN – 909721, C/O 56 APO.
Envelope containing application must be superscribed as “Application for the post of ……… (Ex-serviceman/ GEN/ Meritorious Sports Person/ PH/ SC/ ST/ OBC)”
