Age Limit (As on application closing date)
General Category: 18 to 25 years
OBC Category: 18 to 28 years and SC/ST Category – 18 to 30 years

Educational Qualification
Fire Engine Driver: 10th Pass (Matriculation) and possess valid driving license with minimum 03 years experience of driving heavy vehicles.
Fireman and Mazdoor: 10th Pass (Matriculation) with proficiency in the relevant trade.

Recruitment and Selection Procedure

The selection process will consist of Physical test and Written test and Practical/ Trade test. The recruitment tests will be conducted at 898 AT Bn ASC on dates as mentioned on acknowledgement card (admit card/ call letter). Final selection of candidates will be based on the merit and will be appointed at Akhnoor & Rajouri (J&K) location with All India Service Liability.
Physical Standards: Height: 165 Cms, Chest: 81.5-85 Cms, Weight: Minimum 50 Kgs
Endurance Test: As per post
Written Test: The written exam (10th level) will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 100 Objective type questions of total 100 Marks (01 Mark each) as per the pattern below. Negative marking (0.25 Mark) will be applicable for each wrong answer.

• General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• Numerical Aptitude: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• General English: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• General Awareness: 25 Questions (25 Marks)

The minimum standard for passing in each test will be as follows:
Written Test – Minimum 33% Marks
Physical / Practical Test – Qualifying in nature
