Indian Air Force (IAF) has released notification to organize Airmen Recruitment rally for the following districts of Andhra Pradesh (AP) State and UT of Puducherry. The Recruitment Test for Group Y Non Technical IAF (Security) or IAF(S) Trade will be conducted at Indira Gandhi Outdoor Stadium Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) from 09 September to 13 September 2017. Age Limit
Candidates should be born between 13 Jan 1998 and 27 June 2001 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualification
Group Y IAF (Security) – Intermediate/ 12th/ Equivalent examination pass in any stream/ subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Physical Standards
Height – 152.5 Cms
Chest – Minimum 5 Cms expansion
Weight – Proportionate to height and age
Selection and Recruitment Process
IAF(S) selection process will consist of Verification of eligibility, Physical fitness test (PFT), Written test, Adaptability test-1, Adaptability test-2, Dynamic Factor Test (DFT) and Medical examination. The PFT will consist of 1.6 Km Run within 5.40 Minutes, 08 Chin-ups, 20 Push-ups and 20 Bent-Knee Sit-ups. For Selection, All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of candidates in the AISL will depend upon their performance in the recruitment rally. The AISL will be displayed at 12 Airmen Selection Centre, Air Force Station Begumpet, Bowenpally, Secunderabad (Telangana) on 30th April 2018.
How to Apply
Candidates form Vishakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Nellore, East Godavari, Guntur, Krishna & West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh State and Yanam district of Puducherry (UT) are eligible for this rally. Eligible candidates may report for the recruitment rally at Indira Gandhi Outdoor Stadium Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (AP) on respective dates (09 & 11 Sept) between 06 AM-10 AM with writing materials and required documents as mentioned in the official recruitment rally notice.

09 September 2017 – Physical Fitness Test and Written Test
10 September 2017 – Adaptability Test-1, Adaptability Test-2 and Dynamic Factor Test (DFT)
2. For East Godavari, Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh:
11 September 2017 – Physical Fitness Test and Written Test
12 September 2017 – Adaptability Test-1, Adaptability Test-2 and Dynamic Factor Test (DFT)
13 September 2017 – Reserve Day
