Tradesman Mate – Rs.19900-63200 (level 2)
Fireman – Rs.18000-56900 (level 1)
Total number of Vacancies – 323
Tradesman Mate – 316 (Gen-158, SC-54, ST-41, OBC-63)
Tradesman Mate (Backlog) – 03 (ST-02, PH-01)
Fireman – 04 (Gen-02, ST-02)
Age Limit (As on application closing date)
General Category – 18 to 25 years, OBC Category – 18 to 28 years and SC/ST Category – 18 to 30 years
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification.
Sportsman – Meritorious sports persons may also apply for 39 FAD Recruitment for the Vacancies of Sportsmen. There are total 16 vacancies reserved for Meritorious sportsmen. Candidates should have represented State/ Country/ University/ School in the National/ International/ Inter University competition in any of the games/sports as given below.
Games / Sports Discipline – Archery, Athletics (including Track and Field events), Atya-Patya, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Basketball, Billiards and Snooker, Boxing, Bridge, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Cycling, Equestrian Sports, Football, Golf, Gymnastics (including Body-Building), Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Karate-DO, Kayaking and Canoeing, Polo, Kho-Kho, Power lifting, Rifle Shooting, Roller Skating, Rowing, Softball, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennikoit, Tennis, Volleyball, Weight-lifting, Wrestling, Yachting, Ice-Skiing, Ice-Hockey and Ice-Skating.
Recruitment and Selection Procedure
39 FAD selection process will consist of Physical endurance test (see recruitment notice) and Written test. The written exam will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective type questions of total 150 Marks as per the pattern below.
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
General English – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
General Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
