Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on application closing date

Educational Qualification
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass and English typing with 35 wpm or Hindi Typing with 30 wpm on computer
Fireman: 10th pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board

Recruitment and Selection Procedure

The selection process will consist of Written Test and Physical Endurance Test / Skill Test (as applicable). OMR based written exam (10th / 12th level) will be of 02 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective type questions of total 150 Marks as per the pattern below.

• General Intelligence and Reasoning: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• Numerical Aptitude: 25 Questions (25 Marks)
• General English: 50 Questions (50 Marks)
• General Awareness: 50 Questions (50 Marks)

Physical Test (Fireman only)
Physical Measurements: Height: 165 Cms, Chest: 81.5-85 Cms and Weight: 50 Kgs
Physical Endurance Tests: 1.6 Km run within 06 Minutes, Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs / equivalent weight to 183 Meters distance within 96 Seconds, 2.7 Meters long jump and Vertical rope climbing (03 Meters)

Eligible and interested candidates may apply for 16 FAD Civilian Defence Vacancies in the prescribed application form (offline) by downloading from www.indianarmy.nic.in or directly from the link provided below. Send application form complete in all respect along with admit card (acknowledgement card) and required documents through Ordinary/ Registered/ Speed Post to “The Commandant, 16 Field Ammunition Depot, PIN – 909716 C/O 99 APO”.
